Cotton poplin canvas shirt featuring a Toile de Jouy print. Short sleeves. Finished with buttoned front. Featuring [details] from Illustrations to pastoral and genre scenes of animals in the Rococo manner from Jean-Baptiste Huet (1745-1811), painter of the king’s furniture repository in the reign of Louis XVI. 
Jean-Baptiste Huet was a painter of the king’s furniture repository in the reign of Louis XVI. He engraver and designer associated with pastoral and genre scenes of animals in the Rococo manner, influenced by Francois boucher, Gilles Demarteau and Jean Baptiste Le Prince. His paintings were turbed into fabrics in the Toiles de Jouy Manufacturing and aimed to satisfy the whims of the Queen Marie Antoinette.
The manufacture of this piece happens ethically and sustainable in Albacete, Spain, so please note the lead time is 2-3 weeks after the time of order. Due to the fabric’s dimensions, the print placement can differ between the sizes.
